California’s Labor Code Private Attorneys General Act (PAGA), colloquially known as the “sue your employer” act, continues to evolve. To aid employers in navigating the murky waters of PAGA, during this session we got educated on new developments in California wage and hour laws that provoke class action litigation and will offer ways to avoid, manage and resolve these issues to help minimize the risk of a costly wage and hour class action lawsuit.
This year, there have been new developments relating to PAGA procedures, as well as court decisions that California employers need to know about in order to ensure compliance.
